The experience of the company makes it possible to quantify and envisage with precision machining times and different behavior of materials of industrial interest. This knowledge is of primary importance for the real control of an industrial manufacturing process. As for the majority of the laser technologies at their beginning, the principal disadvantage of femtosecond technology is the difference between quality and interest of the results potentially accessible on the one hand and the lack from control of the manufacturing processes to an industrial scale on the other hand. In short, the industrial decision maker is likely to evaluate badly the risk of the use of femtosecond technology if it is based only on the purchase of a laser source. The importance of the process control has not to be shown for the industrialization of a new product. The trade of IMPULSION is precisely at this interface and allows it to meet the needs, often unexpressed because ignored, of a customer wishing to use the ultra short laser technologies.
Let us specify at this point that the ultra short pulses can also be used in the field of metrology (microscopy, spectroscopy,…). It is then another trade which is not that of IMPULSION.
